A long hand-knotted runner showing a single flowering vine — peony heads breaking through a stylised wave border, an old Tibetan motif that combines the symbol for renewal with the symbol for resilience. Worked at 120 knots per square inch by the rug-weaving families of Helambu over the course of a season.
